An Unforgettable Escape – Kareem is the Ultimate Host! Staying at Kareem’s place was truly something special. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that made us feel completely at ease. The space is beautifully designed and so peaceful — it honestly feels like you’ve escaped from the world and found your own little piece of paradise. Every detail in the place shows care and thoughtfulness, from the cozy setup to the serene atmosphere. Whether you’re looking to relax, disconnect, or just enjoy some quiet beauty, this is the perfect spot. Kareem goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect — he’s not just a host, he’s a vibe!

Everything, starting from the location in Dakrour mountain and the marvelous view, to the staff (Ali Noweigy) helpful, clean, smiley faces all the time, strongly helpful in every way, to the room and how clean, neat, beautiful, comfy & saving the tradition of SIWA in all it’s details, also the breakfast amazing that most of it from the plants growing around the rooms of the Grand SIWA Home, yes it’s a home of extraordinary art and beauty.

The staff are very friendly & cooperative specially the hotel owner Mr. Mohamed Barakat & his Assistant Mr. Gamal. The magnificent location in the heart of the mountain makes you restart your soul & have new power. The architecture style of the rooms are perfectly matching the Siwa ecolodge concept. It was really amazing experience & i’ll repeat my stay at this lovely unique hotel.

I'll start with how breakfast was thoughtful and delightful! Definitely worth waking up for, so fresh! They have the most thoughtful and helpful staff and in addition to their own staff, they are well connected with the community. They were able to arrange everything we wanted to do, and typically under a very tight timeline. They also have a lovely little shop that his packed with local delights. I was visiting with family but it was a trip I took with my sister and our children, and notably without any adult male. As a single mom, it is always important to be able to feel safe and secure in new places. Talist hit and exceeded the mark here! Would recommend 100%.

Albabenshal is conveniently located in the center of Siwa below the old fortress. It is a 5 minute walk from the bus station. The design of the lodge has been done well with simplicity and using local resources to create an inviting, unique and restful place to stay. The staff are welcoming and accommodating from room arrangements to helping us arrange outings on the day of. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Siwa.

Great facilities and atmosphere to relax with amazingly wonderful rock mountain and lake view. Friendly staffs and cute dogs :) Delicious breakfast. Even though there are some restrictions on using of water and electricity like other ecolodges, but you can effortlessly accept this as a part of Siwa life 😀
