Booked for two nights, extended for four. One of my favorite stays in Sri Lanka! Beautiful teracce, spotless clean and modern rooms. Also, the price is great. We stayed in similar rooms in South which were 4x more expensive. It’s just 10min away from the centre and believe me - Kandy is much better outside the centre :D You can order your food there or just uber it. The host Harshana is wonderful. He has travelled/worked abroad and we had a lot to talk about. He helped with the visa extension too, very grateful for that. P.S. Don’t go trough the mountains, follow directions in booking.

I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay. Before arrival I told the owner that it was by boyfriends birthday and the next day was our anniversary! When we arrived we got drinks but also a cake!! I didn’t ask for it, but they surprised him good! Very good service. When we thought it couldn’t get better, they got us flower with the breakfast! The service is very very good. They really want you to have the best experience. Also clean beautiful rooms with a nice view and very good shower. I would very much recommend you stay here while in Kandy.

The view is just out of this world. Great place for the escape to the nature and fresh air. The host, Inthizar made our trip smooth with all small details being organised including transportation, suggestions of place to visit and small hike to the breathtaking view point. I work in hospitality and I was so surprised to receive such a great personalised service. I highly recommend to visit The Cloud - memorable staycation guaranteed!

Beautiful accommodation in the hills surrounding Kandy. Actually some of my Kandy highlights were the lazy mornings and afternoons spent here. Punya is very responsive including when our train arrived later than expected, past 10pm, and also helped us arrange onward travel. Ravi is great, and made us feel very at home. He is also an excellent chef! The breakfasts are delicious, and we had something a little different each day. Thank you!
