Uros lodges are located far from touristic rush of Puno and we had a great opportunity to see the daily life of Miguel and his family - they were all very nice, friendly and very helpful. Also, they provided us with great food, took us fishing, gave us sorojchi pills when we did not feel great because of high altitude and much much more. The location is stunning, probably one of the best in the Uros for sunset. Cesar and his family are extremely welcoming hosts, keen to share as much about the local culture while also making sure you enjoy your privacy. The food, hospitality and help finding our way there and onwards after leaving have made it our favourite experience in Peru so far.
