SpainSimba was simply great! He was so nice and charming. He accommodated our late arrival and gave us a free upgrade which was highly appreciated after so many hours driving. The cottage had everything and more. We had a great dinner at their restaurant and the breakfast was very good as well. The place is located only a few minutes away from the Tsitsikamma NP gate. Highly recommended!

The Fernery Main Lodge where we stayed is on top of cliff with a spectacular view over a gorge and sea. The room we stayed in was fitted with a fire place, kitchenette, electric blankets. The breakfast was fresh and well prepared.

We loved the Fernery Lodge and Spa, what a great location, very unique! The views of the gorge with hiking trails was beautiful, and the view down to the ocean was special. We even watched two new baby whales jumping while having breakfast. The dinner was outstanding, we were sorry we could not stay longer as we had to stay on our pre booked schedule. The drive into the property was most unique as well, traveling through the forest harvesting and replanting of trees was very interesting to experience.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. We got upgraded to the premier sea view suite which was extremely comfortable and luxurious! The views from the lodge are stunning. The buffet breakfast was brilliant, and the facilities (hot tubs, sauna, spa) are great. The forest trails are beautiful. I would definitely come back!
