The private onsen across the street is incredible, I had it to myself every night, and there is an option for breakfast. The room was perfect for two of us, and Papa was so kind to drive us to and from the Myokokogen station and the mountains, and also on some errands which was so kind. It feels like you are stepping into a place that can’t be created, a piece of personality.

Nice spacious room with comfortable beds, great common room to chill at night after a day on the slopes too. We really liked the freshly cooked breakfast every morning, simply delicious. A big thanks also for our host Mr. Chen for his wonderful hospitality, and a special thanks for driving back to the station to bring us the bag we forgot at the lodge, would not have made our train without him! Overall great experience, would recommend to anyone going to Hakuba.

The lodge offers a terrace. the owner Yutakasan is the best I have so far. he’s very welcoming and assisted us with whatever we need during our stay (from helping us to book for a taxi in the middle of the night, to lend me some of the skiing equipment) & the location is very near to the slope shuttle bus stop, the property is clean, warm, cozy and very homey. the breakfast was execellent! they also have a private onsen in the property. super highly recommended to stay here!

Our room was small, but we knew that when we booked so we were not bothered by that in any way. Aovely way to break up the trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi if you have a car and it is worth a visit just for the sake of being there.
