The view of the bridge and the jungle were absolutely stunning! It was a short walk down to the bridge if you wanted to get on the tracks which was great. The room itself was absolutely perfect. All of the amenities we could have asked for and you could tell it was very new. It was also a short tuk tuk ride into town when we wanted to do some shopping, and our host was so generous to give us a ride when we needed. The family that hosted couldn’t have been any sweeter, and we were so grateful for the time we got to spend there and the opportunity to have met them!!

He brings the word "homestay" to another level- never have we felt so at home in such short time!! We got a tea from his own garden every day as well! It features a shared lounge area surrounded by tea estates/mountains. The property boasts an excellent location for hiking and trekking. We loved our stay at the Hill Safari. The views were spectacular, the staff made us feel very comfortable and welcome and the room was everything we needed. The food was also delicious and they gave us many new year treats to try. They recommended some great walking routes, talking you through the route with a hand drawn map!
