We stayed here as a family of 4 - parents and teenage boys. We had 2 excellent rooms. The home was lovely, including the rooms and the social space downstairs- the breakfast area and the awesome honesty bar, plus the outdoor space. The breakfast was excellent and very generous, including fresh homemade soda bread and cakes! Best of all, the hosts live next door and are a lovely Irish / Slovak family. They were very friendly and always happy to advise on activities and places to go. That was greatly appreciated and really helped us to make the most of our time. The local area has beautiful countryside and walks, plus places like huge caves (amazing) and you can get a cable car up Chopok mountain for an excellent walk on the top.

It was very quiet around it, and the sounds of the nearby river is very nice.

This lodge provides free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. Great experience in Slovakia. The house was perfectly prepared for our stay, it had everything we needed (and even more). It is outside the town in the woods, next to a stream - very quiet. The home owner doesn't speak much English but we did manage through Google translate. This house would be my first choice next time I am in the area.

The lodge offers a sun terrace. The house is not big, but very cozy, candles, fireplace, all kind of dishes and pots. Washing machine and dishwasher are a great addition to chill. Heating is automatic and it is very warm/hot inside. Children will find toys there. Lots of small stuff, free to use, it feels like you are at home (not in hotel). Nice and beautiful location with mountains and forest.
