Search lodges in Nevada

After 3 days of staying at River Lodge next door. I realized how much I missed Harrahs. bed was comfortable restaurants were good. River Lodge had no restaurants. And we had blood on our sheets when we arrived at River Lodge. Harrah's was a breath of fresh air we hadn't been there in 3 years and it made me realize what we missed. It's so much more modern and comfortable.

The place was very good in terms of our accommodation. It was a very hot day and the lodge was just far enough to ride.

Location was good, close to what we wanted to do, and close to train station. Rooms were fine, even though it was not howard johnson's but travelodge, which was confusing when looking for the hotel. Very good price, makes up for the fact it wasn't really a Howard Johnsons. Being cheap makes the negatives not a big deal, luckily I planned for no real breakfast, so that did not catch me unprepared. Wasn't even a 'continental breakfast'.

Compared to a few years ago and before Travelodge bought and refurbished the property, the room was in good shape, and the restaurant at the El Capitan casino was far superior in terms of food freshness, quality, and quick service. Easy, well rehearsed check-in. Even at a late afternoon check-in with lots of guests, all questions (some from multiple sources and at the same time) were happily answered.

The lady at the desk was so sweet and was the only great part of my experience. I will say that the room was cute and seemed decently clean? I'm actually not sure though since I left. Edit: Travelodge really did make good on this and refunded me! That brings my review up another star. Thank you, Travelodge!

Fun old place. The lodge atmosphere was nice and the atmosphere and people were very friendly. Yeah the room decor was old but the beds were comfortable. Diane at the front desk was great, and the restaurant food was good and inexpensive. There's a walkway trail down to the lake if you have the time and energy.

The lodges were amazing. We booked the studio, but upon arrival were upgraded to the 2 bed lodge with a private hot tub - it was amazing. All appliances and cookware was brand new and there were plenty of towels on hand. It was clean, perfectly located close to restaurants and grocery store and we had no issues. Only caveat was that there were no oven pans to cook with, luckily we just made due with the stove, but nothing a simple foil grocery pan couldn’t fix if need be.

the staff was very friendly! good location for the price. from all the travelodges in vegas that I had been, for me this was the best one!
