the hotel lies in a hill overseeing the lake with hiking trails going in and out to the mountains from it. The Spa was great as well as the dining experience in their restaurant. We visited for our honeymoon and the staff left a very special detail in our room which was very much appreciated.

This is the best hotel with the finest service, an incredibly professional staff, and everything is designed for the utmost comfort of the guests. We've never seen such a variety of breakfast options—it's like attending an amazing banquet :))) The rooms are fantastic with very comfortable beds—mattresses, pillows, blankets—everything is top-notch. The hotel grounds are unbelievably beautiful with a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely return here next time. Thank you for everything!

Beautiful classic German chalet style apartment using entire top floor. Very large with separate bedroom, kitchenette, living room, dining room, office alcove, large balcony, gated private parking. Apartment is full of beautiful old antique and newer style furniture. Views from all 4 sides of upper floor apartment. Plenty of room for family of 4. It is close to central Bad Tolz, very close to several good restaurants and 15 minute walk to Bad Tolz village with more shopping and restaurants. I'm working in Penzberg, 20-25 minutes drive, but prefer to stay here since it is so nice. The host, Rita, could not be nicer.
