Really nice hotel, having an open onsen was great! Room is comfortable and the free drive back to the station to avoid the climb with the suitcases was very helpful. Will be looking to come again.

Perfect location next to the ropeline station with beautiful nature views! Japanese cleanliness! Breakfast and dinner buffet really ritch and tasty, some western options as well for people with no preferance to Asian cuisine. Staff polite and helpful. Onsen area was really nice. The shop near the lobby was useful Beautiful footbath area, enjoying an icecream there was a highlight with the view while soaking my feet after breakfast was a highlight

Beautiful traditional style tatami suite with a king size bed. Glorious garden view and private onsen. Staff were amazing. There was a mix up with dinner but they apologised profoundly and refunded us a substantial amount for the dinner. The traditional Japanese breakfast more than made up for it.

Wonderful place in great location! The private onsens were lovely and we were fortunate to have our own onsen on balcony too. Staff very helpful and polite. We had dinner and breakfast and it was beautifully presented with a wide variety of interesting dishes. Traditional clothes and pyjamas provided so no need to unpack 😁 Really easy to get to on train and easy to access ropeway and open air museum. Highly recommend.

The room is spacious and clean. Staffs are attentive and friendly. Dinner and breakfast are included. Dinner is a 10 course meal like fine dining and breakfast is a big spread as well. We are shocked by the amount of the food but all are delicious and we finished everything. They also give a small surprised by giving my sister a small cake at the end of the 10 course meal as is my sis’s birthday. So nice of them. Will come back again.

Beautiful room with private onsen bath. The evening meal and breakfast were both beautiful and incredible. They catered perfectly for our various dietary requirements. The women's communal onsen was so lovely and beautifully designed. The staff were exceptional in every respect.
