Luxury Hotels in Gotemba

Hotel is located near the ferry and ropeway, which makes it easy to access even though it's on the most remote side of the lake (we arrived via the ropeway, and left via the ferry). Dinner/breakfast buffets are well furnished, and you'll definitely find something you'll like. There's also an all-you-can-drink bar during dinner, which is nice if you want to try out some Japanese liquors/drinks. The hotel's onsen is very cozy, and I'd definitely recommend going before/after dinner, as it's very peaceful when the sun has set and the lights are dimmed. We had a private hot bath in our room, which was spacious enough to fit the two of us, although in a seating position only. Staff is nice and helpful, and speak english sufficiently well that we had no issue understanding each other.

It was an amazing stay at Yuyado Zen, two nights were perfect as we get to spend time exploring Hakone and also fully enjoy the onsen stay. It is near to Ubako Station where you can ride the ropeway to attractions like Owakudani and Lake Ashi. Hotel staffs were very helpful with directions and offer free pickup/drop off to bus station. The food and hospitality were just amazing, probably the best meals we had in Japan! The room was very well maintained, clean and spacious as well. Highly recommend!

The staff are all nice, helpful, and cheerful. Facilities are all amazing and thoughtful. The entire villa/camping unit is spacious. We especially like their bed and pillows, not soft, making us sleep like a baby. We stayed for two nights. They also changed dinner menu, which was very thoughtful and very appreciated too!

A very nice big hotel room with a nice shower and we had a private outdoors onsen which was perfectly sized, heated, and with an aesthetic view.

LOCATION-close to Hakone Open Air Museum,Gora Park, Train Station. Lawson convenient store with 15 minutes walk. FOOD-Impressive Japanese dinner with multiple choices of side dishes and main. Both Japanese and Western style breakfast are delicious ( amount of breakfast offered is equivalent to our normal dinner meal!!!!) It is a good idea to have a very light lunch. The coffee beans offered in the room with a set of hand-grind machine and filtering equipment is excellent. Definitely worth a try! I feel sad that I forgot to ask the hotel the brand of the coffee beans. There are unlimited crackers, nuts, teas, drinks ( including alcohol!)at each floor and B1 floor ONSEN-private onsen in your own room, 3 small private onsen ( no reservations required, there is a lighting system to indicate LOCATION-close to Hakone Open Air Museum,Gora Park, Train Station. It was an unforgettable experience to watch sunrise and watch the starry sky while having hot spring spa at the same time! SERVICE- FIVE STARS service!!! Caring staffs from car park, front desk to the restaurants. They even remember details that we are celebration our anniversary and my son’s birthday.

The Location was amazing, the view from the room was breath taking.would of love to stay a few days more.

Location was a bit far from town but host had been excellent in corresponding in some issues.

We spent four nights as part of our honeymoon in Japan; the staff is very friendly and welcoming; the hotel is beautiful, the dinner and breakfast were an experience; we had a private onsen room, which was wonderful
