This hotel is paradise! And I have traveled a lot! Opened in January 2025, it’s already one of my favorite hotels in Phuket, and I’m sure I’ll be coming back—maybe not for an entire trip, but definitely for the first or last few days, as it’s only 15 km from the airport. It’s small yet compact, with a beautifully designed layout. The setup feels like a row of townhouses with winding pools between them, and each room is like a mini villa. The breakfast is decent, and all the essentials are here—massage salon, gym, restaurant. Plus, there are local Thai eateries, a shopping mall, and a massive supermarket nearby. While it’s not the most convenient spot for partying in Patong or heading to Rawai’s seafood markets (both about an hour away), it’s a perfect place to start or end a trip. I also loved staying here mid-trip when I just wanted peace and quiet—and this place delivers exactly that. The service was excellent, and the staff throughout the hotel were incredibly friendly. Simply a favorite!

We had no expectations when we arrived, but this place completely blew us away! The setting is stunning, but what truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding service—May & First went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The concept perfectly balances luxury and nature—think of it as a five-star tented camp experience. Waking up to the sunrise and winding down with the sunset here is simply next-level. The place is like a little corner of one own’s paradise. The villa is spacious, with an amazing design, just like in the photos (or even better than in the photos). It exceeded our expectations. There is high quality in every detail. We enjoyed the pool in the morning while having our coffee and even at night before going to sleep :). The complex of villas is located in one of the most beautiful areas of phuket, at the entrance in Laguna Complex. The road to the beach passes, which is of approx 3 km, passes through a wonderful area, with luxury hotels, parks and good infrastructure. The beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen, in a natural reservation, not crowded, quiet and surrounded by vegetation. The italian restaurant nearby is very good and they deliver directly to the villa. Plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, coffee shops, pastries in the area.

I think it was my third time visiting this hotel for the past 10 years, and I have always enjoyed my stay here so far. I believe that Banyan Tree is one of the best hotels to stay while you are visiting Phuket, as it provides you with everything you need - a range of good restaurants, fine in-room dining, leisure facilities, etc. The hotel’s staff is also extremely polite and helpful.
