Large hotel on the outskirts of Athlone. We had a deluxe double room in the adults section and it was large and spotless. We ate once in the bar and once in the restaurant and the food was good value for the price. Staff work hard and are friendly and polite. Thought the breakfast choice was outstanding.

The house is huge, flooded with period charm, spotless throughout, ample parking in the camera covered driveway for plenty of vehicles. The decor is modern yet sympathetic to the style and period of when the house was built. I felt at home yet as an honoured guest at the same time. Easily beats any 4 star hotel I have stayed in, hosts have time for every guest , inch accurate local knowledge, trained as a breakfast chef with Nevin Maguire ! Where else would ya get service like it !! Flawless.

My friend and I enjoyed our break in the luxurious Hudson Bay Hotel - what a beautiful setting!. The staff were excellent and it was great to see all the 'young' students' employed for holiday work - so friendly and efficent. Great management - thank you.

Was spotless and very well kept!!! Very close to everything that we needed. (Bayswater adventure park etc….) Staff were all extremely friendly, from the staff front of house, bar staff and the staff that freshened up the rooms daily!! And hopefully the chef reads this too, I sirloin steak for my dinner last night and it was the best steak by a long shot I’ve ever ate!!! Was @&#king gorgeous!!! I enjoyed my stay loved the hotel the staff were wonderful and chatty which is a luxury these days. Our room was quiet comfortable and the food OMG I had the 10oz sirloin steak and it was delicious compliments to your chef! This was my first visit but it won't be my last!! :)
