Beach a 5 minute walk & Clonakilty/Roscarberry about 10/15 mins drive away. Quick tip: Given its proximity to the North Atlantic Ocean.. you can hear the roar of the sea day/night which we loved.. however, for lighter sleepers, earplugs might come in handy.
