The open-air public bathtub with a view of mountains and the shrine is something you need to experience yourself! After the bathing, there are popsicles and hot/cold drinks available for free.

The location was also very good, five minutes walk from Kyoto central train station. We enjoyed everything, we are glad we chose this place.

There are 2 indoor hot springs baths and an open-air bath at the property. We stayed here as a stopover during the Kumano Kodo. What a wonderful stay! Great place, the common area is well-equipped, and the private onsen (three in total) is absolutely the best after a day of hiking. Yunomine Onsen is a lovely little village. Highly recommend!

It is very peaceful and a nice 15 minute walk to many restaurants and beach. The staff made us feel so welcome. The bakery is top notch. I have had very delicious baked goods in multiple European countries, and this is right up there. We thought at first the mattress was a little firm(this seems standard in Japan), but ended up sleeping well.
