We wanted to visit Butrint and were lucky to find Villa 5 in Mursi which is only 15min drive away, including the ferry crossing. It is in a semi-rural setting next to the lake. The beautiful, modern, very spacious apartment is on the upper floor of the house and has a balcony looking across the lake. The hosts were very kind and hospitable, there was water and fruit in the fridge on our arrival. The breakfast was probably the best we had in Albania. We ate at the local bar/restaurant called Todi and had delicious fish.

The location was perfect: peaceful yet close to everything we needed, with stunning views and lovely surroundings. The staff were kind, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The family, Zo and Bertie, are by far the kindest hosts we’ve ever met — genuinely warm and welcoming. A special thank you as well to the night receptionist Florian, bartender Florians, Ornella and cleaning staff for always being helpful and treating every request with kindness and professionalism. This stay truly exceeded all our expectations!

Everything was PERFECT. The location of the hotel the food, the cleanliness of the entire facility, the pleasant atmosphere, the hotel staff, especially Lori, who was very nice and helped us with everything we were interested in about Ksamil. The best hotel in Ksamil! 🙌 Excellent Service from the owner and staff from reception, kitchen, restaurant and Housekeeping they are all nice and friendly they will provide all what you needed with personal touch and service. The owner himself always ask if everything is fine and if we needed something. As we celebrate our anniversary they gave us wine and personal note they have exceptional service like a 5 star hotel.Its sad that we dont want to go home after we checkin in Sondor. The people are so accomodating. They have Modern Facilities. A newly opened hotel that has a big room with nice terrace and modern pool. The breakfast is also awesome and always fresh and wide variety of foods! the location is not far from beach and center. i wil really recommend Sondor Hotel for all visiting Ksamil and we find our second home in Ksamil when we go back next time.
