It is a humble village house in the mountains with amazing hosts. We arrived late but the elderly couple waited for us, sat and talked and made a feast of their homemade produce. It's nothing fancy, but a very authentic experiece that will definitelly become one of the highlights of our trip to Armenia.

The cottage is located high in the mountains, where it's just you. You can go for walks in the area and enjoy the peace and quiet. The owners are very nice, kind and helpful. Very friendly and very generous host. I really had a feeling that somebody takes care of me. The rooms are nice, the common bathroom and the kitchen are spacious and equipped with everything one might need. The place is close to the trailhead to the monastery / castle.

We loved our stay here! The cabin was super cosy and perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay as a family. The hosts are lovely and helpful. You are surrounded by a beautiful orchard and a short walk along a steam will take you to the nearby town. The 800 year old bridge is also only a short walk away. The freshly cooked food is delicious- including fresh eggs right from the chickens on sight. Our daughter loved playing with the kittens and there is plenty to do to keep a child busy and content. A really relaxing place to refuel and a great place to stay if you want to visit the nearby Noravank monastery, Areni cave and local wineries.
