This is one of the top three properties that we have stayed in Europe thus far! Simply amazing in terms of facilities, cleanliness, location and comfort. Special thanks to our host, Veerle, for her professional yet warm hospitality. We will book this property in a heartbeat every time we visit Ieper/Ypres, and will highly recommend everyone to choose the same. You will be at stone's throw from the cathedral, the city center, the museum, several good restaurants, but still, in a relatively quiet zone. If you come by train, as we did, it was a breeze to walk just about 10 minutes to reach this place. The room (we got "The View") was exceptionally spacious, with a high ceiling, and extremely well-appointed. The bathroom was generously stocked, boasting a Japanese-style toilet (with automatic bidet). The decor was really classy, yet providing all modern amenities in a cozy ambiance. There is a homely lounge area downstairs, with coffee/tea making facilities. We availed the breakfast during our stay, and Veerle was kind to make us wonderful eggs, pancakes and yogurt parfaits every morning. Overall, we had a wonderful time at this property!

The fact that this is more than just a place to stay while we visited Ypres was such a wonderful surprise . From the moment we arrived the attention to our comfort was paramount for Sofie. Both she and her husband had time to talk and gave wonderful suggestions for places to visit and to eat out. The room was delightful and so comfortable with every little extra available , such as toiletries and lovely clean towels every day. Outside of the room the quirky breakfast area was fantastic and the presentation each morning was a delight, the area also provided coffee, tea and hot chocolate whenever we wanted. The decoration of the house was so creative and the Christmas atmosphere made everything twice as pretty. My husband and I will certainly return to this unique and happy accommodation any time we visit Ypres.

It is a 5 minute walk from the main square with lots of restaurants, the cathedral and the WW1 museum. In front of its entrance there is a large free car park. The host Karen is kind, sociable and helpful. Our room was very clean, the bed had an extremely comfortable mattress, and we had free water, tea and coffee available in the room. Very good breakfast and Karen tries to cater for all needs. A great experience.

Everything. The only downside is the narrowness and steepness of the stairs. The info does not make it clear. They are unsuitable for anyone with an infirmity. I booked with a friend who struggles with walking and manoeuvrability in tight spaces. We arrived at apartment and knew instantly he would not be able to stay. Fortunately, even though it was 11/11 I managed to find a hotel nearby with lift that had a late cancelation and had one room so we booked him in there. Wasn't cheap but solved what might have been a huge problem. I had the apartment all to myself. It is exceptional and tremendous value. I would heartily recommend it, but no good unless you are fit and agile.

The accommodation was fantastic and very close to the centre of Ypres. Car parking near the accommodation wasn’t great but there was plenty of free parking nearby. Breakfast was wonderful with a lot of choice and plenty of it! The bedroom and bathroom were very spacious and comfortable. The owners Kristien and Steve were very helpful and friendly and we felt very welcome in their home.
