This was the best value accommodation we've had in west Africa. Layo is an excellent host. He gave us lots of information. It was a short walk to the Basilica, the python temple and some art galleries. The area is quiet. The room was nicely decorated and very comfortable.

Everything was fantastic! Layo is an extremely kind and wonderful host who went out of his way to help us and we enjoyed visiting and getting to know him during our short time there. Excellent location in a natural paradise. The town is close by but no noise is heard around the compound other than the waving of the lake's water. Staff was very helpful and food was just great. Accommodation is rustic but that's what one comes here for at the end of the day. Easy transportation from Ouidah.

The CDAC is an amazing place to stay in Ouidah. Clean room, delicious food and very reasonable prices. The location is very calm, near the beach and not too far from the city center. But the best thing about the CDAC is the staff and the atmosphere. Everyone was extremely welcoming and helpful and their help and recommendations made all the difference for my stay. Previous reviews mention that it is hard to get to and from the city. That may have been true before, but now there are brand new paved roads all the way from the city center to the CDAC's entrance.
