It was a long journey to get there, but completely worthy. The staff were really friendly, the rooms had simple decoration, but practical and comfortable. The location was dreamy, in front of a beautiful lake and also close to interesting places to visit (our daughter got car sick, which meant we limited long journeys on the island, and we still managed to see and do plenty of things). Mouthwatering food at the restaurant as well as nice staff (we had both breakfast and lunch there). They serve traditional comfy food, but not greasy. My father is quite close-minded when it comes to trying new dishes, but he was delighted with the food (we all were). In summary, excellent place to spend some family holidays.

SEAcroft is a little taste of home away from home for anyone on their travels. Not only are the hosts lovely, but everything that they've created here is just perfection. Every thoughtful detail to make our stay comfortable, cosy, relaxing & fun is much appreciated. We also ate breakfast and our evening meals here, which we both thoroughly enjoyed, and our only complaint is that we had no place left for desserts!

Cliff cottage was so good I almost don't want to write a review because I don't want to share this little treasure. The location was stunning with great views across to the hillside (and the deer) and only 5 minutes walk to an amazing quiet golden sandy beach. House was perfect, having everything you could ever want and the fenced in garden was perfect for the dogs to sun themselves and dry off after a visit to the beach. The house was very clean, beautifully decorated and very quiet, with super comfy beds, log burner, well equipped kitchen and and ample space for all of us and the dogs. Marie could not have been more welcoming or helpful in the run up to our visit and on arrival. Lots of local beaches to explore and the Uig Sands restaurant is a must visit. We are already planning our next visit.
