The hosts were so kind and welcoming, the breakfast was authentic, fantastic and very generous. Giorgi and Ninelli were always available to help us organize the activities we wanted to do, like horse riding, helped us with our excessive luggage, and made a warm fire. It’s the closest guesthouse to David Gareja, and close to the two restaurants in Udabno!

We arrived in the evening having been delayed on our long journey by snow in the mountains. We were immediately greeted with a very warm Georgian family welcome. Dinner was prepared and served in the family kitchen - homemade Georgian recipes. The beds were warm and comfortable and there is a shared bathroom. The family are extending their facilities for future guests. Having been out birding early the following morning we returned to a wonderful breakfast including homemade breads, jams, yoghurt and cheese. Good chat with our friendly hosts. The location is great for visits to local sites including the David Gareja Monastery. We loved our stay. Thank you.

What an enjoyment to stop in Udabno on the way to visit the Monastery of David Garedja. Time seems suspended in this isolated place surrounded by steppes stretching as far as the eye can see. Definitely worth experiencing. The host was welcoming and made our stay very pleasant, and the breakfast was very nice as well.

Fantastic hosts, nice breakfast. When we arrived they provided us with their homemade wine and chacha free of charge, both were delicious.

It was amazing to stay here in Udabno. The host is super friendly, she has a lovely dog and helped us with everything. The breakfast was really tasty, everything was from her garden or her animals. We really loved to stay here and Udabno too.
