The owner is very friendly and helpful. We took a wrong way and were stuck in the small rough village road and got lost. The owner showed up and drived us to his guest house. Actually the house is at the upper side of the village and the drive way is much better and easy to go. The day after, my friend had a leg bone broken, again the owner came to meet us at the glacier and arranged the ambulance and rescuers. He's so genuine and did everything for us. We are deeply moved by his kind support. BTW, the house is neat with a kitchen, the food his mother made is great. Its location is a plus, just a few metres away from the church where you'll have a great view of the sunset. We definitely will choose to stay here again.

The two sisters are mainly responsible for reception. They have good English skills and are particularly friendly. They can provide all help and information about Ushguli for guests. Our couple moved in with our daughter, and the host enthusiastically upgraded us to a family room. It is particularly commendable that the geographical location is excellent, and the best camera position is on the high tower slope in front of the door, suitable for taking panoramic photos with snow mountains as the background. The breakfast at the guest house is very rich, and the quality of the dinner exceeds that of the surrounding restaurants.

The house is in the best location in Ushguli, with the most stunning view of Mount Shkhara. And the owner is an even more amazing person. He was even our horse riding guide — we rode to the Shkhara Glacier. The amenities in the house are varied and suitable for all kinds of people. Nora was an amazing host, very accommodating, attentive, we came late for dinner but she gave us amazing Swaneti khachapuri , tasty home made jams etc. The breakfast was tasty and big. The bed was warm and comfortable and we had a good night sleep. She arranged to bring us back to Mestia and was helpful in so many ways. We found that the location was perfect- very close to everything but on a quiet street, overlooking the beautiful mountain. Would recommend anyone to stay there.

    I have very mixed feelings. On one hand, the accommodation was very good considering you are in a very remote location. When we asked about renting horses, it was organized very quickly, though we were not informed that we will only get 20 minutes on the glacier, considering that one way from the "parking" up to the glacier takes ~50 minutes. As a result, we had to do the same trip by car on the next day, to get the complete experience.
