This homestay is beautiful and the owner and his family are very friendly. They took care of us and helped us with any concern we had. The room is clean and big. The breakfast is very delicious!!!

A beautiful property to stay and rest for a day. We booked last minute and they were able to accommodate us and also cook us delicious healthy food. Thank you for looking after us. Highly recommend a stay here for a peaceful stay around beautiful gardens.

This beautiful resort was absolutely stunning. Its location on a tea estate made it so serene and peaceful. The hosts, Mr. Sujit Jacob and Mrs. Asha Jacob were wonderful, warm and caring. The staff (Ajeesh & Rithin and others) and the owners were very kind and hospitable, and did everything to make the stay absolutely comfortable. They went the extra mile with their guests and made sure that everything was taken care of, from food to travel. Certainly coming back for many such wonderful moments.

We had an overall amazing experience staying at this property! In comparison to many private pool villas I’ve visited, this one is large and very satisfying. The pool is spacious enough for the kids to swim some real distance, which was a highlight for our family. The power interruption my delay the cleaning of the pool but otherwise the back-up power is sufficient for all other conviniences.(necessary lighting, pedestial fan, charger etc) Manu, the caretaker was extremely helpful. While we were a little disappointed for not being able to use the pool as we checked-in (bcoz of power issues) but he guided us to a nearby mountain stream at a walkable distance. It was a peaceful spot with no crowds, perfect for a relaxing dip and some photos. The view from the pool was relaxing, with the possibility of catching a beautiful sunrise if the weather permits. Also, the Palozhukkumpara viewpoint is just a short walk away—a brisk morning walk to catch the views, and again, no crowds! The food options are somewhat limited at the moment, but I believe this will improve over time as the property develops. For the evening snacks we ordered 2 coffees,1 tea,1 cup of milk, and 8 bread omelettes—which were all delicious. For dinner, we had chapathi, egg curry, fried rice, and vegetable curry, and all the dishes were full of flavour. While I’m not sure if it was worth 2k but the it was definitely tasty and nice. The breakfast, which was included in the plan, was also quite nice. It included watermelon slices, egg curry, appam, cornflakes, milk, tea, and coffee. The rooms were spacious and completely wooden. The Wi-Fi/mob n/w was a bit weak but its safe around there. Overall it was a fantastic stay. I will try to put a detailed review on google.

Vanilla County in the Vagamon Hills – what a beautiful place to spend your holidays with your family or friends. It is not only the sheer beauty of this place but especially the friendliness and warmhearted kindness of its owners Silu and Mathew and each and very one of their wonderful team. We felt so very well looked after, whenever we had questions concerning the surroundings and the Vagamon Hills, Silu would be there to give us valuable tips and suggestions for day trips and sightseeing. We loved the Kerala food you get at Vanilla County cooked by Ranju and Jolly which was served by Maju, Anand, George and Anthony - always with a friendly smile. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The house and the garden are very clean and very well looked after by Aniamma and Sheena. Everywhere in and around Vanilla County, you feel that things are done and chosen with a lot of love, taste and care. The wonderful memories of Vanilla County and its people will stay with us for a very long time and will make us smile. We strongly recommend Vanilla County if you want to relax in a beautiful place with very special, warmhearted people.

Amazingly beautiful view from the balcony. The room is clean. Good food. But the main value of this place is the people, manager and his team! We were met and dropped to the hotel and back to the bus station the next day. Despite on the late check-in they cooked delicious dinner for us. They made our stay unforgettable. Definitely want to come back.

Really nice hotel but few things should be repaired in the rooms. The booking was to complicated. It’s really sad because the place have so much potentials and the crew is very nice. Hope u do some smal modifications for make it the perfect place to go….

Breakfast is a challenge. Otherwise it is a serene, fantastic location.
