A total of five of our friends went there. First of all, I am very sorry for not following the instructions in the email and going to the reception area to contact us first. We drove directly to the apartment by ourselves, ignoring the dangers of the road conditions. Again, please be sure to arrive at the reception area with a black light sign to contact the landlord. The landlord received us very friendly and enthusiastically helped us. Everything in the apartment was better than expected. Everything was very comfortable. We also saw the Aurora outside the door, which was the first time we had lived in Iceland. Best apartment ever. If you are considering it then I highly recommend you book here, you won't regret it.

This place's owners were lovely and made this stay feel homely and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious; it was also very quiet at night. They are a short drive on a gravel road off the ring road and fairly close to the small town of Klaustur. The breakfast was great. We particularly liked the juice shot and the salmon. They also serve dinner here each night, although we didn't try it.

Everything was great. Really nice and kind receptionist what showed me my room and all the shared spaces. The view from the Hostel is very nice. I recommend if you are looking for something cheaper around Vík í Mýrdal.

    Beautiful location Ample parking Very nice staff- we got there quite late and they made some lentil soup for our little one at no cost- very grateful Dinner was a little pricey but good quality food and nice to meet other guests Room is very nice

    Modern apartment (number 9) w/ outdoor parking included. Fully equipped kitchen (microwave, oven, dish washer,...), very useful since there are no restaurants or supermarkets nearby. Easy to find despite long dirt road to arrive. Very good indications by the owner. Overall excellent!
