Roberta and Luca are very welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts. The apartment is recently renovated, spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped with all-new furnishings, bathroom fixtures, and kitchen appliances. The garden area is lovely and has a marvelous panoramic view, the property being in a unique elevated position in that corner of the Maremma. We found the location of I Grappoli to be ideal for visiting the Parco della Maremma: close proximity to Alberese where the Park’s visitor center is located and also very easy and nearby access to the free bike path to the splendid beach (It is 8 flat km away…only about a 25 minute mellow bike ride from the apartment!) and the various entry points to the many marvelous hiking trails of the Park. (Note: one must pay admission for the hiking itineraries and tickets can bought at the Visitor Center or online.) We brought our bikes with us (I Grappoli also has some available which guests can use free of charge.) and we were enthralled with our daily outings to the beach and to the Park. The expansive green spaces and rapturous views of the unspoiled shoreline, sea, islands and mountains are uniquely soothing and to be savored! They are unlike any we have encountered in Italy and we look forward to returning to I Grappoli to discover more of the Park and its intriguing variety of well maintained trails and sights!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We really liked the pig farm, which is right next to the accommodation. Satisfied piggies ♡. We were also very satisfied with the location of the Italian countryside in a pleasant walking and cycling distance from the center of Alberese. We really appreciated the free rental of bicycles in the accommodation. With those it was possible to reach the beach in about 30 minutes. Tip: In addition to the Maremma Park, we also recommend a trip to the Tarot Garden by the artist Niki de Saint Phalle and on the way to stop at the beaches with dark sand in the Capalbio area (approx. 40 minutes by car).

Perfectly located, 5 min walk from Alberese (gateway to the Maremma national park) and the shuttle bus to the beautiful beach. The farm itself was tranquil, pretty, and had a lovely pool. Ippolito and his parents were very welcoming and the evening meals will be a special memory.

    Very close to the beach in Alberese and at the same time very quiet and away from the main road. It takes 25-30 minutes by bike to get to the beach, and Redipuglia has many bikes. Parking area in the shade, lots of outdoor space in a beautiful garden with tables and sun loungers. Private small apartment with good-sized bathroom and comfortable beds, fridge and small kitchen in a closed corner, really useful.

    Excellent place to stay away from crowded locations If you like quiet country site Lovely staff, good wines, excellent beaches. Especially beach Marina Di Alberese, if you decide to go there make sure you go before 10:00 as there is limited parking area

    Beautiful apartment surrounded by vineyards. The apartment is spacious, very comfortable and clean, with kitchen, pergola and beautiful country details. Possibility of parking. The apartment is located in a quiet location - ideal for relaxation. The hosts are very friendly and welcomed me and my two dogs (Flat coated retrievers). I highly recommend this magical place.

    Breakfast was superb, perfect location in the middle of Maremma and very close to the seaside, they even gave us discounts for parking. The staff was lovely, they also gave us a basket full of peaches from their trees!
