The hotel design is beautiful. Stunning views of the beach. The communal bath was beautiful, we loved this. Staff were very lovely and tried their best with my poor Japanese skills! We hired a car there too, very convenient as this included pick up at the ferry/airport.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house. Everything was perfect with a lot of detail features and esthetically done. Perfect to enjoy life, get some work done and exploring the beautiful island of Goto (Fukue Island). Top service level and excellency in many aspects. Our housekeeper was awesome and he showed us some amazing hidden places on the island. So friendly. We can highly recommend this place if you love nature, tranquility with a high value of life. There is a symbothium between life & nature. Many thanks for this experience. 🙏💫🧬

Hitomi and Nicholas are very friendly and have picked up us at the airport right after we landed the Island. Hitomi was so smart by predicting the cancellation of our flight due to heavy frost and directed us to the Ferry Pier to Nagasaki so that we could catch up our flight in Fukuoka next day. The hospitality and friendliness of the staff was outstanding. They helped us with everything we could possibly need, from car rental and taxi organisation to dinner reservations and recommendations on what to do and explore on the island. Breakfast and dinner were great and the view from the room was the best. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable and the onsen bath on the balcony was a great addition to our stay. We absolutely loved our 2 nights at Goto Retreat and will definitely come back.

Short walk from the ferry terminal (~10min), short distance to almost all of central Fukue (because the town is quite small). A big supermarket is about 15min walking away (good selection). The host was very kind, the kitchen well-equipped, and the location quiet. Very comfortable beds!
