Incredibly nice property, everything felt really new and clean. Located in a cute, rural area, so perfect to get away from the big crowds of hakuba. The hosts are absolutely amazing, very friendly and can speak good English. Plus they offer breakfast and dinner options, super convenient (and the cooks are fantastic) the hosts offered a free shuttle on arrival and leave, very kind.

Best room we've had in Japan! Including a small kitchenette which was perfect for cooking up dinner. Excellent location: walkable/bike able to bus station, supermarket ,Happo One Gondola, onsen. Really helpful staff, pick up/drop off from train station. Nice breakfast. Laundry facilities.

This place was amazing. I stumbled upon it and having read the reviews gave it a go. It was even better than i expected. Toshi and Haru were absolutely lovely and helped with anything you needed. The place itself is beautiful and really felt like a home. It is close to shuttles to both the ski fields and the nightlife. I would not stay anywhere else if i returned. It was an authentic, relaxing Japanese stay.

Staying at a Ryokan is a wonderful experience, great to know the Japanese traditional lifestyle. Our room was bigger here than anywhere else in Japan, with very comfortable beds and pillows, and great tatami area. The staff was amazingly kind, warm and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. About the location: walking distance to Happo one and to Happo station where we took the bus to other ski resorts. We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back.

The house was exceptional. We are so glad that we chose the place to stay. It's during the snow season so there are complimentary pickup from the stay to the bus station. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The house is equipped with full kitchen equipment and utensils. We cooked and enjoyed our time very much.
