We booked two rooms for our family of four. We were pleasantly surprised how spacious they were, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The host was incredibly kind, he suggested the best places to eat and buy locally produced lemon pastries, and when we were leaving, he brought his cat, Tiger, and waved goodbye to us. As we were on a three-day bike trip and only had our small backpacks with us, we loved the fact that everything was provided: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, tooth brushes, toothpaste, mouth wash, etc. In each room there were even a couple of bottles of water and everything for making tea and coffee. In the common spaces there was a microwave, guidebooks, manga books, and a wall full of Toso Maps of the Shimanami Kaido trail. We will definitely book Bed&Cafe Onzo again next time we bike the Shimanami Kaido!

Our hosts, Genki and Emi, were exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and kind!! Their home stay is beautiful and elegantly decorated. The bedding is crazy comfortable, like, best sleep of our trip good. And the location is great and near many good restaurants. The property itself and its amenities were prefect. Esthetically it was a dream. Everything was comfortable and well thought out. Even the minor details of providing candy for kids, stocking up the kitchen with cooking supplies and food to providing supplies for my pet was a step above and beyond. The place could easily fit many people. We had a family of 5 (3 adults, one teen and one young child) plus a small dog. We all enjoyed the place very much.
