Best staff I have experienced. The guys were so friendly. They are amazing. The food and the spice route made this a 9+ experience. They deserve everything that is coming to them. Well done! Steps is a beautiful spot surrounded by native plants that emerge you in the best greenery of Sri Lanka. The staff are very friendly and helpful and go out of their way to help. They even provided Sri Lankan breakfast on request. The rooms are beautifully built.

We stayed here last Saturday and had such a wonderful experience. The property is small, with only two rooms, which makes it feel very private and peaceful. The architecture is beautiful, blending perfectly with the surroundings, and the view of the paddy fields adds such a calming vibe to the whole place. The staff service was superb – from the warm welcome to the attentive care throughout our stay, we felt truly valued. Everything about this stay was intimate, relaxing, and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet getaway in a charming, natural setting.

Super chill host, makes you feel right at home. The cottage is totally separate from the main house, so you've got tons of privacy – way better than most homestays. The garden is gorgeous and perfect for chilling out. I loved waking up to all the birds singing, and the host's adorable greyhounds were always there to greet me.
