For me, this place was the perfect place to stay at on Holbox. It's an easy walk from the center, but far enough to be super quiet and peaceful. It's small but social, easy going, clean, very friendly people working here and the tents were comfortable. I liked the common area, perfect to chill in a hammock or have a chat with the other guests. The kitchen was well organized too. Just around the corner is a little market where you can buy fresh fruits and food, also a nice alternative from all the restaurants in the center.

The room was very spacious, at times it almost felt like it didn't need to be so big. The staff at the hotel restaurant were beyond helpful and made us feel welcome and appreciated throughout our stay. The food delicious, the drinks immaculate and the atmosphere sublime. The location is perfect for relaxing at the beach or at the pool, plus the staff are very eager to assist with any sort of transportation or sightseeing activities you might want to do on or around the island. Just make sure to get loads of mosquito spray, as it can be a literal bloodbath at times. We especially loved the diverse wildlife this hotel was surrounded by, like for example iguanas, sunbathing on the restaurant roof, Mexican eagles nesting on the watchtower nextdoor, fish, turtles and stingrays just off the hotel beach etc. Amazing for animal lovers!

This complex is located in a quiet area of Holbox Island, a natural paradise in the Mexican Caribbean, 80 km north of Cancun.

The kindness and friendliness of the property manager, owner and staff, was exceptional. This is one of the most important aspects of anywhere that I stay. I was immediately welcomed and looked after, including lots of messages prior to my arrival regarding transport so that my journey to the island and hotel was as smooth as possible, including help with arranging a shuttle, where to wait at the airport and help with details about the ferry etc. I am very grateful. The room itself was beautiful and the area was very quiet, so I always slept well. The fridge in the room is a little loud so if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. I hope I get the chance to go back to Holbox and to stay at Villa Los Mangles again :)

The apartment was lovely; bright, super clean and quiet. Great location, just a few minutes from beautiful beach. Shower was large and there was plenty of hot water. Kitchen had a coffee maker, blender, large fridge. Powerful a/c and fast wifi. Minerva was an excellent host and her son Alex always replyed quickly to Whatsapp. This was my third time to Isla Holbox, if I deside to come again, I would be delighted to stay at Coco again Thank you so much for making my stay so special ❤️!
