Perfect value for money with so welcoming hosts, great facilities and beautiful views! There is a small shop at the campsite so you will find all the necessities… starting from the coffe all to the cold bears and braii things 🙈 Host will help you out with all relevant infos for Sesriem, if needs ! Count around 30 minutes to Sesriem, 25 min on gravel roads and 11 on perfect road ! 🚘

The friendly welcome at reception,friendly and helpful staff,,well served and devine fixed menu meals.A germ in the desert to watch the wildlife from the r comfort of your chalet.Great facility. The tour to the vlei was excellent and the tour guide informative and friendly a trip well worth.

Everything. Perfect stay, unfortunately only one night. Animals, six rhinos right in front of you all the time. Good three course dinner, nice breakfast. Perfect view both from the bungalow, from the pool and the bar/ lounge. Stylish, nice furniture, very good bed, big bath, and separate toilet. Spotless clean. It is worth checking in early, so much to see. Complementary coffe / tea table with water, cookies, etc. Just grab some and watch wildlife and chill.

Lovation, close to Sossusvlei. Clean, modern and queit accommodation. Well equipted for self catering. Tou can also have dinner at neighbour restaurant or order food for grilling. Friendly staff. Michael showed us a hill close to watch sunset. Beatifull!

Was very secluded, you had your own area, toilet and shower. We stayed at the ‘pigeonhole’ and it was great. Very well looked after, good all around!

At Kronenhof is an incredible property, with awesome campsites, the best during our time in Namibia while self driving! Private campsites are clean and wonderfully located, allowing seclusion in a picturesque landscape. The dark sky we saw here was sublime and we enjoyed exploring by 4x4 and seeing giraffes and other animals! An unforgettable experience.

I don’t know where to start it was just amazing beeing welcomed to this place. Our room was beyond beautiful with an outdoor bed (they‘ll arrange sheets and everything if you tell the reception) a second terrace with sunloungers, outdoorshower and another balcony right in front of your bed. Interior is very spacious with gorgeous big windows, a big comfortable bed, lounge area with the most amazing view and a very big bathroom. Minibar and coffeestation are filled up so you can enjoy a drink right when you arrive. We had Zebras right in front of the lodge when we arrived. For sundowner you can choose to visit the upper deck (up a small hill), they‘ll arrange the drink you told them in advance and also very good tapas. Thanks a lot to Willie and the second waiter for arranging our drinks last minute and for racing up the hill with them and our tapas. :) After that head right to dinner, honestly the best dinner we had during our whole holiday. The steak was amazing, the starter and the amuse guele, the soup and the dessert. Lastly the whole staff really cares and seems to really enjoy beeing there and working together you can really feel the team spirit. Its about 40min drive to Sesriem Gate (they provide early breakfast with you want to leave before sunrise) for us that was totally fine. We arrived at the gate for sunrise and at Sossusvlei in time to walk up Big Daddy before the heat. Scenery and light is amazing at this time of the day. After running down the hill to Deadvlei we drove back to the Lodge to enjoy a beautiful afternoon and evening. Only downside that we just stayed 2 nights and couldn’t enjoy a whole day at the lodge. We‘ll come back, thanks again.

Nice camping site with views over the mountains in the distance. Half the price of our site inside the park with the same commodities and a concrete platform so that you don't carry so much sand around.
