The view from the garden suite is perfect. We didn’t regret not booking the mountain view suite because you can see mountains from all sides. The experience of staying in the shipping containers was so fun, but do note that there are heavy winds at night so bring ear plugs. The staff were so wonderful, very friendly and helped us organize a waterfall hike and drive down to the town. We loved eating at the restaurant Las Nubes close by and it was convenient to have breakfast there. Very peaceful experience and nice to have a bathroom attached, although expect a bit of dirt on the floor of the room. The complementary coffee was a nice touch to enjoy from the balcony with a view.

Large and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, great location (slightly uphill, with great nature and mountain views). Swimming pool surrounded by colorful plants and flowers. Colibris right in front of our door. We really enjoyed our stay here ! The restaurant is fine overall, some dishes are very good, some are just OK. For breakfast we really enjoyed the pancakes!

- both hosts were super nice and very helpful - Gilbert speaks English - breakfasts were fantastic - view from the breakfast/ pool area was awesome, view from attached balcony to our bedroom as well - the house is unique and well setup, high on the hill overlooking Anton Valley. -our room was large, comfortable and spotless - we really enjoyed our stay there

This place was awesome. We were tucked away with our private garden with a couple of adirondack chairs to enjoy the fresh air and views of surrounding mountains. The kitchen looked well stocked, but we didn't use it since we were there for only 1 night. Warm water in the bathroom and good water pressure. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer...but we will be back when we have more time. The host was very kind and helpful...she even helped me carry my bags to the room since I have to use a cane to walk.

The casita was very well appointed and the little touches were great. The owner had a supply of coffe and essential cooking items, something we really appreciated. She even left us a papaya to use for the bird feeder . The birding from the deck was incredible, we saw a great number of birds without even leaving the property.

Location was excellent, with comfortable beds and all the required amenities in good working order. Perfect for our 3 night stay. It’s a 5 min walk to a good size supermarket, 15 mins to the main ‘downtown’ Avenida with restaurants and the mercado. 3 amazing hikes to the top of the ancient caldera, and the butterfly farm is a must see. We were able to park our car inside their gate, and the home is a 15 min walk to access one of the 3 primary hikes in the area, India Dormida. Jose and his partner, Liz, are wonderful hosts, and made us feel like family. The breakfast is simple and filling, and we could use their fridge and also made a meal or two using the kitchen facilities. Jose and Liz are gracious hosts and Jose is very witty. They made our time there a truly fun and memorable experience. Communication was excellent, in English and Spanish, despite my spouse and I having very limited Spanish language skills. Local knowledge, tips, and recommendations on things to do in the area were great and super appreciated. Finally, Jose joined us on one of our hikes and he made it super fun and interesting with his knowledge of local flora and fauna. Thankyou Jose and Liz, ¡Sois unos anfitriones maravillosos y unos seres humanos increíbles:)

Tristan was very helpful, communicative and extremely supportive when we had an issue at the house. The place is seriously espectacular with everything you need. The WiFi worked perfectly, the kitchen space was beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable and quiet. The house is very spacious, the living room is very comfortable. We took our dog and he loved it, it was well fenced and the grass was pretty cut down. The location is top notch! And is very very near to the town center and supermarket.
