I had an incredible stay at Hotel Campismo Praia Grande on São Tomé and Príncipe! The location is a true paradise, with stunning natural beauty all around. One of the highlights was the nearby Praia Grande, a magical spot where you can witness sea turtles coming to nest – an unforgettable experience! The accommodations were cozy and well-maintained, blending perfectly with the serene environment. I stayed with this lovely mountain ecolodge for 2 nights, short stay yet I have to say that the experience was really fantastic! Fabulous mountain vibes, simple but tasted breakfast, dedicated and well-designed lunch menu, warm-hearted staffs, 24 hrs nice-flowing hot water, easy to arrive from the town/airport (no more than 40 mins)…Everything is prefect and I do wish to come back again with my family! Thank you so much for your kind hosting:) Moore is so happy to stay here!

Due to an unforeseen change of plans, we booked our stay just a few hours before arriving. Joao contacted me right away via WhatsApp to let us know he wouldn’t be there initially, but he made sure someone was expecting us and ready to greet us. This excellent communication continued throughout our stay. Joao’s hospitality was the standout—he was always available for anything we needed and genuinely cared that we had a great experience. He went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit, bread and eggs, (and even soya yoghurt—which he had gone out especially to get for me as a vegetarian) Our room had a beautiful view of the sea, and we could hear the waves crashing as we fell asleep—I slept really well here. The location is in a village, and although we don’t speak Portuguese, the locals were very friendly. We even enjoyed a drink at the local bar and felt very safe the entire time.

The location is amazing, on a beautiful beach. The staff is super nice. António is really nice and helpful and the food prepared by Menta is amazing. Sleep was good, since the mattress was very good!
