Onyado Nono Matsumoto Natural Hot Spring provides rooms in Matsumoto near Matsumoto Station and Matsumoto Castle. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a shared lounge and a 24-hour front desk, along with free WiFi. Private parking is available on site. Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and exceeded my expectations. It's a short walk from the train station (though it does mean it's a bit of a walk to the castle) and the whole place has a really relaxed and charming vibe. Value for money was great, and there are many things to like. Staff is friendly and I really liked the design and setup of the rooms. Then there is the nicely set up onsen on the top floor with an indoor and outdoor bath, as well as a sauna and cold plunge bath. On top of that, there is free ice cream, free yakult in the morning, free ramen in the evening (after 9:30 pm) and free drinks from 3 pm to midnight. Design of the place is very Japanese (shoes in locker at entry) and with all the perks included, we really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of restaurants at walking distance as well. Would return if in Matsumoto again.

The owner was super friendly and kept the onsen open late for us when we were out too late. He helped us research restaurants in the area and even gave us ice cream after a hot bath!

Wonderful stay and we saw Fuji :) Will definitely stay again

Very clean hotel, modern and fresh design, polite and warm staff. Room is more spacious than usual hotels in Japan. I booked this hotel for my daughter’s birthday and requested balloons and cake. The staff were able to assist me in ordering the balloon delivery and the hotel has cakes available for purchase. I also made a dinner reservation and availed of their 5th anniversary course dinner. The food was amazing, so flavorful and pretty. They also have their own coffee blend which is very smooth. The hotel is walking distance to restaurants and convenience stores. Quick taxi ride from the Nagoya Station. Overall me and my family enjoyed our stay here and I would stay here again when I visit Nagoya. Thank you!

Residence Hotel Takayama Station is situated conveniently in the centre of Takayama, and offers a fitness centre, free WiFi and a terrace. This 4-star hotel offers luggage storage space. Private parking is available on site. The room was spacious with an equipped kitchenette and a washer dryer that came with tide pods. The bed was really comfortable and the daily room service made it a joy to go back to the property to rest. The property is also very conveniently located next to the bus and train stations which made our day trips so convenient!
