Valbona is breathtaking. The house is next to a meadow oasis in the middle of the valley. The room was perfect, clean and cosy with an incredible look at the mountains. The breakfast was excellent, made of their products, served in the garden or in their dining room. Selimaj's sons floently communicate in English. We also had lunch/dinner with them and it was excellent; domestic food prepared by the mother of the family. It is an excellent starting point for many hikes in the valley and to the mountains above.

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, they speak very good English and helped organise a transfer to the start of Valbone-Theth hike. The property was almost brand new and very clean, and it’s one of the only places in Valbone where you can pay by card.

you couldn’t find a better bunch of blokes in Albania than the ones that run this place. looked after me very well, even organised me a guide to do the Valbone-Theth hike before the summer route opened. absolutely beautiful quiet location close to the start of the hike. room was comfortable and great value for money. breakfast and dinner was generous. absolutely reccommend.

A good location for a relaxing getaway in Tropojë, Borbardha the 7 xhuxhat is an apartment surrounded by views of the mountain.
