Family run and in a great central location in the the stunning town of Melk. incredible Views to the Palace. We hired electric bikes the first day (10€ for half a day) gorgeous 50km cycle up to Spitz and back (lots of places to stop for wine and beer!) Next day went to a family wedding in Wasserkirken by BOAT! we asked SO many question at reception and they were consistently helpful. The food is delicious too, so many homemade delicacies. At least a 15 minutes walk along a busy road. The hotel was comfortable but lack a personal touch. Breakfast was good but when we asked for hot food we were told only eggs were available and on our second day realised we could have had a different hot food choice.
