Fernway is a delightful home with beautiful touches throughout. It is located in a tranquil, expansive, scenic countryside estate just 5 minutes drive from the attractive, friendly village of Ballincollig. The home itself was super comfortable balancing modern conveniences with rustic charm and combining character with comfort. Tim is an amazing host.     Just about everything. Super friendly staff. Suited our needs 100%. We were touring in an old VW T2 camper van which always attracts a lot of attention. It was nice to be able to park it off the road in the hotel car park. Martin the chef even gave us a few tips on places to see/things to do on our travels around the south coast. The one major bonus is for dog owners, the hotel has a garden and welcomes pets. Something really difficult to find in Ireland. Our room was at garden level, perfect for our dog Harley!

    Dog friendly! Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Rabbits spotted coming out of the woods...Needless to say the dog liked that (on a lead, no harm done!) Characterful hotel, which we liked. Slightly old fashioned in a charming way. Would return.

    Fabulous location, we travelled with our dog and there was an open field for walking outside the apartment. the locals were friendly too and helped us find places to eat. Uber eats also delivers if needed.

    this was our very first pet friendly hotel experience and I wasn’t even underwhelmed. or was fantastic to bring one of our pets with us. garden was conveniently located outside our door. we have a variety of pets, it was so nice to see hens, ducks, budgies and pigeons in the garden, not the same variety as ours but definitely felt like a home from home which was lovely.
