The room was nice, had a nice comfortable sleep. The attention to cleanliness and comfort exceeded my expectations. Waking up to the sounds of birds was an added luxury you get here with natural surroundings. the unobstructed mountain view from my room was a perfect setting for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.

I had a wonderful stay at River Breeze Villa! The location is perfect if you're looking to escape the noise and crowds—tucked away from the busy town of Bentota, it offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere surrounded by nature. The highlight of my stay was definitely the excellent breakfast served each morning. Fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, it was the perfect way to start the day. You can really taste the care that goes into the food. The villa itself is charming, clean, and well-maintained, with a lovely view of the river and a gentle breeze that lives up to the name. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. If you're looking for a quiet retreat with great food and warm hospitality, River Breeze Villa is the place to be. I loved everything about Halketha. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality from Chitra, Mary and Nelumi. We were taken to our villa across a beautiful landscaped garden that also stays true to its love for the natural environment. The villa itself was perfection - perfectly decorated, clean, homely but also provided you with a sense that you were in luxury. The outdoor bathroom was a cherry on top, with a beautiful araliya tree in the middle. During our stay, we were not only treated close to family, but the quality of service was nothing like I had seen in Sri Lanka for a long time. The food was authentically Sri Lankan, with a rich yet classic taste. The property is close to mini waterfalls and great walks. This is a stay I will keep coming back to. A reminder that authentic and wholesome experiences still exist in Sri Lanka.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious! Thank you, Anthea and Dagi, for your exceptional hospitality. As per our request, they prepared a variety of egg dishes and a fantastic English breakfast. We must specifically mention the fresh watermelon juice—it was incredibly tasty! The location is around 1.5 to 2 km away from the beach, but this was no issue as Dagi kindly arranged a free shuttle service for easy beach access. They even dropped us back at the villa after we finished our outing. Their thoughtfulness and attention to detail made our stay truly enjoyable. Highly recommended! Boat ride tour is amazing. comparing with others here rates are very reasonable and friendly. please book for 2 night. cannot cover the activities with in a day.

Sanjaya is so nice! a few days before the stay, I contacted him to know more on how to get to his place. He said he will try his best to pick us up from train station if he is available, and he really made it! He shared a lot about Geoffrey Bawa and the stay at his place are so sweet and cozy!

Nice light new clean accommodation with spacious terrace and private entrance situated in a tranquil neighborhood off the main road. Good bathroom with hot shower. Large bed with an excellent mosquito net. Run by a friendly family doing their absolute best to make you having a great time. The hostess prepares excellent meals on request. If we have had time we surely would have stayed longer.
