We stayed in one of their tree houses and it was well appointed, clean and modern. Location is very good to access trails, and glacier touring operators. There is an onsite restaurant that has excellent food and drinks.

Everything is so good! breakfast is wonderful.This is the best hostel breakfast.The host of the hostel has such a good personality who bring the good vibe.Free Hot pool is wonderful. I like the fire in the lodge.And good music always in the common area.Free soup every night is also wonderful.

We were given room No.1 with the most beautiful mountain view, this lovely cottage is quite spacious, only five minutes driving from Lake Matheson, staff are very friendly and responsive, would highly recommend Mt Cook View Motel when you visit Fox Glacier.

The property was fantastic! What a great location: close enough to easily walk into town, but just far enough to feel quiet and serene. It was far more spacious than expected and quite clean! The owner went above and beyond to assist us! I cannot possibly say enough good things about this place!
