I had an incredible stay at Hotel Campismo Praia Grande on São Tomé and Príncipe! The location is a true paradise, with stunning natural beauty all around. One of the highlights was the nearby Praia Grande, a magical spot where you can witness sea turtles coming to nest – an unforgettable experience! The accommodations were cozy and well-maintained, blending perfectly with the serene environment. The owner, Tomás, a friendly and welcoming, made the stay even more special with his warm hospitality and enthusiasm for the island. I stayed with this lovely mountain ecolodge for 2 nights, short stay yet I have to say that the experience was really fantastic! Fabulous mountain vibes, simple but tasted breakfast, dedicated and well-designed lunch menu, warm-hearted staffs, 24 hrs nice-flowing hot water, easy to arrive from the town/airport (no more than 40 mins)…Everything is prefect and I do wish to come back again with my family! Thank you so much for your kind hosting:) Moore is so happy to stay here!

Due to an unforeseen change of plans, we booked our stay just a few hours before arriving. Joao contacted me right away via WhatsApp to let us know he wouldn’t be there initially, but he made sure someone was expecting us and ready to greet us. This excellent communication continued throughout our stay. Joao’s hospitality was the standout—he was always available for anything we needed and genuinely cared that we had a great experience. He went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit, bread and eggs, (and even soya yoghurt—which he had gone out especially to get for me as a vegetarian) Our room had a beautiful view of the sea, and we could hear the waves crashing as we fell asleep—I slept really well here. The location is in a village, and although we don’t speak Portuguese, the locals were very friendly. We even enjoyed a drink at the local bar and felt very safe the entire time.

The location is amazing, on a beautiful beach. The staff is super nice. António is really nice and helpful and the food prepared by Menta is amazing. Sleep was good, since the mattress was very good!

Absolutely in the centre of the island life. There is no better location to get to be a part over all that. Easy access to beaches, port, bars-restaurants, forestwalks and equador. All in together is a hands down place. Wonderful.

The property was a perfect fit for our family of 7! The rooms were spacious the lounging and dining area was superb. The direct view into the ocean made sunrises and sunsets truly special. The host was always available to assist and having someone cook breakfast was an absolute privilege - thanks Florinda! (Having a car rental is a must.)

The location is fantastic and has a beautiful view. We loved staying in Santana. The house is well equipped and has a lovely mango tree in the garden. The hosts are very helpful. We really recommend this place.
