The location is stunning, If you want a few calm days, this is the place to relax. We booked the cheapest room, but it was decent enough. If you need even more privacy, luxury or closeness to nature, you can book it too. Restaurant serves good food for decent prices. You can rent a canoe. There is a pool-table.

The property is located in an idyllic setting just on the shore of Lake Bunyonyi. The view from the property is breathtaking. The moment you arrive at the Villa you realize how quiet and peaceful it is. The mattress was new and comfortable and there is a mosquito net. Wycliffe the owner and his family will make sure you feel at home, he helped me even when I was sick in the stomach, he took me to the clinic and waited there with me until I was done. The property is around 8 km from Kabale town and there is a private motorcycle taxi service on demand for 20000 shillings, both ways. There are many activities to be done including kayaking and visiting the local communities provided by Wycliffe. Also they prepare delicious meals at the Villa. One thing that I appreciated is Wycliffes effort to help the local communities. Some of the revenues of the Villa go to the poorest. Thank you so much for helping me out in time of need 💕

A unique experience. The property is located on a very beautiful, small island. We were the only guests there, so we really enjoyed the atmosphere and serenity. Lots of beautiful birds around. Would I come back? Yes!

An absolutely beautiful location, very peaceful. The staff were incredible and couldn't do enough for us to make our stay enjoyable. From 'Rasta Man' who drove the boat and got us to be where we needed to be, even in the early hours or late at night without complaint, to the chef who made us lovely meals, again to our schedule, the lovely ladies who served our food and cleaned our rooms, the maintainence guy on hand for any tiny hitch, to the boss man Edward, who kept in touch with us all week to assist us in any way he and his team could. Can't recommend highly enough

This place is the ultimate place to explore the beauty of Lake Bunyonyi. The view from the patio is breathtaking, and the Villa is well equipped with everything you need. I truely enjoyed the atmosphere during our stay, as it feels as if you are on your own planet, as there is just you and the incredible beauty of the lake and its nature, as you overlook the whole scenery. Me and my wife had a really nice stay at Makanka Hill Suites. A new and posh house in a quiet place. Spaceous and clean rooms with refreshments. We were served nice breakfast. They also organized a day trip for us to the amazing lake bunyonyi. Thank you very much for your hospitality and some great days.
