The guest house offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Without a doubt the best experience we had in Albania. Like getting a super sweet albanian family for a couple of days. The room is very nice and the view is beathtaking. Would recpmmend this to anyone. (sidenote: the mother in the house could open a fancy restaurant with her amazing cooking skills. 10/10)

What stood out most, though, was the warm and welcoming attitude we were met with from the moment we arrived.

Very interesting old house in an excellent location. Close to things, but quiet. Parking and driving is tricky, but to even have a parking place in Ghirokaster is exceptional.

We spent six days in their home, located in a quiet neighbourhood just outside the centre of Gjirokastra, with a stunning view over the mountains of the Drino Valley. There are many places to discover in the city as well as in its surroundings and Diana assisted us in every possible way to help us get around. We were also overjoyed by the traditional breakfast of Barda which was made from homegrown and local products. In the morning we would also sometimes drink a coffee together, or we would spent the evenings playing chess and having endless conversations. We truly felt we had becomepart of their family. If you are looking for an homestay experience, this will definitely be the right place to stay.

Hotel Uji Ftohte Tepelene features a fitness centre, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Tepelenë. With free WiFi, this 4-star hotel offers room service and a 24-hour front desk. Although the valley and the river are the main highlights, the hotel itself is also very premium. We had dinner at the restaurant which was really delicious. Breakfast was also good, and the location on terrace just adds to the experience. The shower in the bathroom was just amazing.
