The bungalows at this beautiful resort are totally air-conditioned and come equipped with a private balcony with excellent sea views. The spacious suites have a seating area with a sofa. Hotel staff were all very friendly. Hotel and grounds were meticulously clean. The food at the restaurant was wonderful (particularly the breakfasts!). Great location in near a very cute town with extremely friendly local residents and near a dive shop. Loved the over-the-water ceviche restaurant!

Wonderful brand new property, luxurious in every single detail and perfectly located on a pristine beach. We stayed at one of their ocean front villas and it was heavenly! Huge bedroom and huge bathroom, beautiful balcony with view of the ocean, private pool on the beach right in front of the sea. Kayak, paddle boards and bikes at our disposal. Lush! Decor is impeccable and mattress and pillow super comfortable. Staff and service are what you’d expect from a 5 stars hotel and more! They also rent golf buggies and can help you book any kind of tour. Restaurant is also upscale with a fantastic view of the ocean and food is delicious. We are so happy to have found this gem. We would only come here when back in Belize 🩷

Situated in Maya Beach in the Stann Creek region and Seine Bight Beach reachable within a few steps, Kin Resort Lodge features accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, an outdoor swimming pool and free private parking. Olivia and Fabio were fabulous hosts for my three-night visit to their K’in Resort Lodge. In fact, the stay was my most positive experience of the nine nights on my trip to Central America. I hadn’t been to Belize before, and didn’t know what to expect in renting a bungalow on the Placencia Peninsula. What I found and got was a spotlessly clean room and bathroom, a wonderful bed, great pillows, modern air conditioning, a terrific shower with hot water I didn’t need to wait for, fast WiFi, a nice ceiling fan, mood lighting, a secure entrance and outside seating area, and even a refrigerator with a pitcher of cold water and a bottle of beer within. On each of the three mornings, Olivia brought me a frothy cappuccino, fresh-squeezed passion fruit juice, and a breakfast treat, also and gave me some company to make me feel at home. The last evening, we actually all shared a dinner, beer, wine, and rum together on one of their outside pavillions— just like we were family members breaking bread as a group. In all, I not only had a good rental adventure, but also made new friends, even getting to meet all three of their beautiful children. They even offered to drop me off at the Placencia Airport when it looked like my arranged ride might not materialize. If you like nature, want comfort, are up for meeting the people who run the establishment, AND don’t want to pay an arm and a leg for it, this is your place!

Coral Cove Inn has a garden, a private beach area and a sun terrace with swimming pool and buffet breakfast in Maya Beach. A few steps from Maya Beach, the inn offers a bar and water sports facilities. There is a barbecue and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Feeling like being really in Belize. Nice colourful and comfortable little hotel. A really warm welcoming. Valesca help us with our different reservations and cherry on the cake accept to postpone our reservation as our flights was delayed. If we had more time we would have stayed there much longer.

Featuring luggage storage space, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. Featuring a private entrance, the apartment allows guests to maintain their privacy. The best thing about the property was the privacy and the lovely garden location! You could be entirely independent and cook your own food using the fully equipped kitchen, or you could head out to nearby restaurants. You could also relax outside in the peaceful garden area and watch the wildlife. I would especially recommend this property for those who are remote working or need some peace during their holiday or trip.

The on-site restaurant at Almond Beach Resort is specialized in Caribbean-style seafood, plus European and Belizean-style dishes. Butterflies Coffee Shop serves deli sandwiches, coffee, en-suite made ice-cream and fresh products. Tiki Bar is located by the pool area and serves drinks. The property also has a small palapa where beach BBQ are organized. From the warm welcome at check-in to the friendly faces throughout my stay at Almond Beach was truly exceptional. The two gentlemen at the front desk went above and beyond, making me feel valued and at home. Despite some disappointing past experiences touring in my own country as a local, here I was treated like a guest who truly mattered. The property, the service, and the atmosphere were all perfect, I had previously booked for one night and went ahead and extended my stay. I will definitely be returning! And highly recommend!

Umaya Resort & Adventures is located on the beachfront in Maya Beach, just a 20-minute drive from Placencia. It offers an outdoor pool, an international restaurant and stylish air-conditioned suites with free WiFi. We just stayed in our room and talked and chat up with each other. It was what 3 besties needed and I say thank you.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Cotton Tree Cabin at Freshwater Creek Cabanas is situated in Hopkins. The property has river views. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. Comfortable, clean, and spacious. No frills but everything we needed in a peaceful jungle location near Hopkins. A rental car is definitely helpful in this location. The sweet canine welcoming committee was an added bonus! We loved this spot, thought it was a great value, and would stay again!
