Daisy was so welcoming and accommodating, especially as we had to change our plans at last minute and amend our booking. Daisy offered to book a boat to our next stop and help with accommodation too. The room was very clean and comfortable with a nice terrace space with a hammock to relax. The meals delicious and prepared with love.

Our hosts, Hugo and Neila were very helpful, providing excellent service to all our needs. We were served big portions of delicious meals every day!

Some units feature a balcony and/or a patio with sea views. The host were so incredibly friendly and nice. They greeted me with a coconut with a flower in it when I arrived and prepared coconuts for me often when I came back from a day. The room was right in front of the beach so I could go to sleep listening to the waves crash and watch the sunset from the hammock on my front porch. I was there during the low tourist season so it was very peaceful and quiet and this place is located between the two towns (about a 15 min walk to each town) so it was maybe the most peaceful place I’ve ever been. They also keep the grounds very clean, are very helpful with any questions, and Pengo is an excellent chef!

Located in Capurganá in the Choco region, Mi Cabaña El Maderal has a garden. It is situated 400 metres from Capurganá Beach and features a lift. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. You were with family. Willie and his family were great to stay with! He had great insight on the area and things to do. Places to see. Breakfast was great in the mornings as we hung out on the balcony. Loved the hammock!! Wifi was great as long as the power was on. It’s in a rural quieter part of capurgana. You definitely get the authentic Colombian experience. We enjoyed are week stay:) I’m gonna miss it and look forward to a return visit:)

Situated in Capurganá, 2.8 km from Capurganá Beach, Casa Alma features a garden and views of the mountain. This beachfront property offers access to a patio. The guest house features sea views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. I spent a few days at Casa Alma and had a beautiful time. The place is located in a very quiet area, suited for those who want some calm in nature, far from the city. The ocean is a few steps away. There is free use of equipment to go scuba diving which allowed me to see many fish, including rays, as well as an enormous turtle! The people who run the place and work there are very kind, always there for a chat. We also went together to an event with live music in Capurgana which was really nice. The place is simple and comfortable, it has everything you need to sleep well, cook and relax. Breakfast as well as coffee all day long is included. If you need to go shopping or visit the city, you can choose between a 10 mins boat ride (20,000 COP/journey) or a 1+ hour walk along the sea, which is exhausting but part of the experience! There are many things to keep you busy in the area and there are 1-2 cafés/restaurants just next to the house.

This pet-friendly guest house also has free WiFi. The owner were incredibly nice, the whole accommodation was super pretty and green! The dinner option was so delicious, I recommend to have dinner there at least once! We loved it so much

Arusi's virgin beaches and remote idyllic seclusion were a dream.
