The room was silent good sound isolation, we’ve stayed at the last room of the hotel corridor. The restaurant was excellent, big portions, great fresh local products, exquisite cuisine. It was the best kebab we had in Egypt. It has also beautiful views to the River. First, we came from Cairo with some stomach illness and the manager of the hotel Samir and all hotel staff did everything to make us felt better, he even went to a drugstore and bought us medicine and gave us as a gift. Thank you very Samir and Hamo, restaurant manager, your sympathy and attention made all the difference. Hamo also offered us local tea for all discomfort every day and it has helped a lot. Samir booked some transfers for us, they were all good and responsible drivers. Last, we had to leave the hotel early morning for a trip and they prepared us a breakfast box, with good variety and quality products, even boiled eggs. I don’t understand why other guests complain about it. Bottom line, I loved it and totally recommend.

It was very relaxing to just sit there and enjoy the views of the Nile. Food was homemade and fresh and delicious. The host took care of everything personally and we felt very comfortable. We strongly recommend a stay at NUBA HEART when at Aswan.

Nevertheless, we were very late he was there in the middle of the night to give us a boat ride to the guesthouse and offer some water, juice and fruits. He arranged also a morning boat for us. In the afternoon when we were back from the day trip there was a lunch waiting for us with everything we agreed on the day before. We already had our day trips organized prior to arrival, but I would absolutely trust him to organize activities around Aswan.

Ahmed is the kindest host I’ve had. He helped me a lot with my visits in Aswan but also with the organisation of my trips to Luxor and Abu Simbel. He is very well connected with the Aswan community and I could organize my visits directly with him which made it so easy to enjoy the time in Aswan. A big plus, at the hostel, there are canoe available from the terrasse to enjoy solo trips in the Nile. Very cool.
