The layout of Colle di Val d’Elsa is a bit different than many other Tuscan towns, quite long and narrow, but the scenery is beautiful.

Breakfast was great, staff is really nice and the hotel is great! The room is really nice and comfortable size if you want to come back during the day in the room to rest. I would like to come back once when it will be pool season just to chill in the hotel area :). Also they have great restaurant inside of the hotel, food was amazing! Great location if you want to see other small cities around. And also you can take really nice walk close to hotel.

Situated in Casole dʼElsa, in a historic building, 21 km from Piazza del Campo, Villa Mucellena is a recently renovated aparthotel with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and open-air bath. The property has garden and inner courtyard views, and is 49 km from Piazza Matteotti. The aparthotel also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Viola and her family were super hosts. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We booked fresh pastries and coffee each day for breakfast. Great value. We had lunch one day cooked by Viola and her mum and the food was amazing. We also took the opportunity to take a cooking class which was so relaxing and fun. We were attending a wedding at Castello di Celsa and Villa Mucellena's location was very convenient for this.
