Free transport to the elephant transit home is provided. Lovely place run by a family. Room was big and great value for money. They had good food and humungous servings, and they were able to arrange everything that I needed (safari, transport to and from Udawalawe). Would recommend this place to everyone - don't even look elsewhere!

THE most helpful host organising our transport from Ella, a safari and ongoing transport to Weligama, all at good prices. Along with his mums cooking, which was simply delicious. Nothing was too much trouble and the safari was incredible! Having a shower outside is a brilliant experience and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Thank you so much, we cant wait to visit again x

One of the best accommodations on a three-week trip to Sri Lanka. The room is very clean, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom has toiletries (shampoo, body gel, hair conditioner, hair dryer...). The surroundings of the accommodation are very well maintained. We had breakfast and dinner twice, which were excellent and plentiful. (thanks to the owner's mother, who prepares fresh meals 🤤) The owner is very friendly, helpful, and knows how to advise. We booked a full-day safari through the accommodation. Our driver was an exceptional expert on the animals in the national park and a very good driver. If you are planning to visit Udawalawa National Park with your eyes closed, I recommend this accommodation and a tour of the park through the accommodation.
