Location of this hotel is amazing. Rooms are very comfortable and nice decoration. Admiral, the waiter in restaurant is the most professional and friendly young man. He keeps the smile on his face and speaks fluent English. He deserves to be a manager. Girls at reception are helpful. The turkish hammam is great.

We really enjoyed our stay at this family-run hotel. The rooms were simple but comfortable, and overall it’s great value for money. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good, there are plenty of parking spots, and the location is close to the airport, which was very convenient.

It's a brand new hotel, the staff was lovely, (we could communicate enough with English with them), the breakfast selection was simple but really tasty. The room basically didn't had any drawers but I didn't mind it. Great shower, facilites were new and functioning. A modern look in the middle of town, I was really surprised. Good air conditioning too, could keep the room cold in August weather just fine. It has an design just like my taste so i really felt at home. TV was an android tv, I could watch Netflix, YouTube, everything I wanted, they really thought out their rooms to the modern traveler. They gave some water bottles to drink every day, that was also cool and considerate of the owner. The bathroom mirror lights were also a really nice touch. The location was central, near some of the historic sites from Dürres. Could walk fine from the port to there with luggage with wheels. They also provided breakfast on our day of arrival for a small fee and kept the luggage before check-in so we could explore the city.

The aparthotel Espana is located directly on the beach with its own sunbeds and umbrellas for guests. Bedroom is big enough with a comfy mattresses. We traveled with only small luggage, so the washing machine in the apartment was a great advantage. The balcony was large with an outdoor seating, nice view of the sea and a clothes dryer (4th floor). Lift was a big advantage especially for my 80 years old mum. Restaurant is on the ground floor and we had HB. You can choose for breakfast fried eggs, omelettes, sausages, cheese, butter, vegetable, fruit, jam, müsli, yogurt, croissant, usually 1 more type of cake and coffee + non alcoholic drinks from machine. For prepaid dinner you have 4 courses, each has a few options and includes also glass of wine, draught beer or Fanta, Cola or Sprite. Supermarket 2 minutes on foot. But most of all we love the hospitality, willingness and help from Toni and his staff. Always ready to help and give an advise. You can also order transfer from/to Tirana airport. I cannot say this is the best accommodation in the world but for the price we paid it was worth it and we really like our stay here. I do not expect 5***** quality if I do not pay for it :) And they have one of the best MOJITO´s I have ever had!

If I visit Durres again, I will definitely return to Villa Lule. It is a wonderful hotel with a family and friendly atmosphere. The owner is a good person who, together with the employees, takes care of the perfect running of the hotel. Me and my friend had a room on the 3rd floor with a beach view. The room was very spacious and clean. Beautiful view of the sea. The staff was always available, friendly, kind and helpful and really hardworking. They always went above and beyond in everything. The sandy beach is about 10 steps away from the hotel. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hotel guests. The hotel restaurant is beautiful and up to standard. The menu is varied and a big compliment to the chefs because they cook perfectly. There is a long promenade in front of the hotel for a walk, and the city center is also not far away on foot. We had a stay with breakfast and the only thing I would complain about is that it was repeated every day. It didn't bother me personally, but if I was going for a longer stay, I would have something else. We spent 5 days in Durres and I will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone I know. I thank the owners and the staff, who were a pleasant addition to the hotel and the stay.

All the staff at the hotel from the front desk to the cooks and waiters to the cleaners were very professional and extremely friendly. In particular the waiter Klodi should be mentioned, who read every wish from the lips and made everything possible. Behar also served us very well. The food was exceptionally good, wether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner, the kitchen team was outstanding. The rooms as well as the whole hotel in general were very clean. I would spend my vacation there again with my family.

I had a fantastic stay at Adriatik Hotel - I got immediate help with anything needed, a superclean room, the balcony with seaview: heavenly! Food, seaview patio, and service at the restaurant-café was impeccable. THANKS TO ADMIRAL in particular, who greeted and served me every morning at breakfast with the highest level of professionalism and genuine, heartfelt attention and care - this made me feel super-comfortable and even "at home“. Hotel is located in the second line from the beach, 2minutes walk. The hotel was clear, the stuff was helpful and the pool is the biggest attraction. The room was cleaned every day and we had very spacious place. The breakfast was every day the same but still you had a choice (eggs made 3 ways, ham, cheese, vegetables, marmalade, melon and watermelon, grapes and few kind of cakes. We also ate their paid dishes from the restaurant for dinner and was very tasty.

the entire staff is very friendly and welcoming. I have never stayed in a hotel where I was so well attended as at Vila One. I arrived at 11 pm and even so the receptionist showed me the room and how everything worked. he didn't speak English but that wasn't a barrier, he communicated as best he could and managed to help me perfectly!

We hired electric bikes and rode across the city, which has lots of historical sites. The people are friendly and welcoming. The food is also amazing here. There are local homemade foods too. We came in September and it was still warm enough to tan but not so hot you couldn’t enjoy walking or exercising.

The airport is small, clean, and has a nice modern facade. Check-in was straightforward, and the building itself looks pleasant. During departure it was extremely crowded and chaotic, with no free seating and little space to move around. My flight was delayed, which made the wait even less comfortable. Nice small airport in design, but easily overcrowded and uncomfortable during busy hours.

Krujë is a charming historic town with narrow streets, an old bazaar, and plenty of traditional Albanian restaurants. The Castle Museum and Ethnographic Museum are must-visits, there’s so much history to discover. Rain or shine, it’s worth exploring, and on clear days, head up to the shrine on the hills for a stunning view over the entire Krujë valley.

The beaches are awefull around Cape Rodon. Lot's of trash and garbage floating around the beaches and sea. Currently there are 2 newly built resorts (Saint Michelle Residence and Resort Arbeni) being demolished for unknown reasons. Our first booked accomodation let us know that they had to cancel our booking due to Albanian new legislation (Piceri Rodoni). In my opinion it is better to stay at the beaches of Dürres and visit the cape as half a day trip. But if you want to have a non-active holiday, Rodoni resort is the best place you could imagine to stay.

If you are not fussy about rural life, this is a good opportunity to get to know the real Albanian countryside. The family is very welcoming and helpful. The villagers were also friendly and willing to help you every step of the way. The cooking facilities at the property were very good. The location is great for getting around.

We had to drive, but it wasn't a problem for us. We discovered some really nice local bars and restaurants. Duka Wine Estate is definitely recommended, just a 10-minute drive away! Lej & Laj, we'll definitely be back!

Durrës is a very diverse city, with both modern buildings...

Durrës is a very diverse city, with both modern buildings and unfinished construction as well as scattered trash. The seafront promenade is long and pleasant, lined with plenty of restaurants and small shops. Public transport is available and inexpensive, with a bus ticket costing 40 lek. You can also find bike rentals for exploring the city.

This is perfect for its purpose!

This is perfect for its purpose! A clean, comfy bed to catch some sleep before a flight. We could return our car, walk to Rinas to sleep and walk to the airport in the early morning. It worked out perfectly. Safe, clean & our bed was actually the most comfortable we had in our 2 weeks in Albania.

Kruje is charming and small.

Kruje is charming and small. You don't need more than half a day to walk through bazaar and explore the castle views and museums. You could stay longer if you are planning to do hikes in the area which we didn't have time for. It is a charming small town with great views and a nice bazaar.

Very beautiful beach, clean air surrounded by pine trees, family oriented, a lot of fresh and testy quality local food. Outstanding sunrise and sunset. The best I have ever seen so far. I would recommend to have options of water activities for the families and the kids even though there is plenty of ground activities available.
