We are extremely satisfied with everything at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location was convenient and peaceful. The staff was incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. We arrived very late at night, and the main receptionist was waiting for us at the front desk to check us in – we were truly impressed by his hospitality. The next morning, we struggled to wake up after a short night, but to our surprise, they had prepared a separate breakfast for us, without us even asking. They also helped us with car rental, which made everything even more convenient. It’s rare to experience such a high level of care and service. Highly recommended – we would definitely stay here again!

    My stay at Aragosta Hotel in Durrës was a very pleasant experience, with several aspects worth highlighting. The hotel is conveniently located near the university where our meetings were held, which made transportation and time management much easier. We received a room upgrade upon arrival, but I must say that both the original and upgraded rooms were excellent—spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The cleanliness of the entire hotel was outstanding, and it was clear that great attention was given to hygiene. The staff was exceptionally polite and helpful, going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Even a special request we made just a few hours before arrival was honored without any issues, which speaks volumes about their dedication to guest satisfaction. A major convenience was the hotel's private garage, where we parked our car without any hassle. Just like the rest of the hotel, the garage was impeccably clean and well-maintained. Overall, this hotel provided a fantastic experience, combining comfort, excellent service, and a great location. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Durrës, whether for business or leisure.

    Outstanding hotel on the first line beach in Durrës , Plazh area . Huge new rooms as per the photo on booking. Every room has a very comfortable bed , silky white bedsheets , huge bathroom with all amenities, shampoo, soap, sleepers , towels , hair dryer. Room has sleeping area , sitting area equipment with comfortable armchairs , huge TV and a jacuzzi in the room. As a family of 3 adults we had 2 rooms and they were nearly identical with 2 balconies equipped with chairs and tables overlooking the sea. Outstanding view of the beach. Very good WI-Fi. Free parking available inside the propriety, excellent restaurant, tasty food and outstanding bar . People working are so friendly and helpful that you feel like at home . In the hotel all speak fluent Italian and English so no problems of communication.It’s only 30min driving from Tirana.We will definitely come back and there is no other place that we will stay than VIVAS hotel.

    I had a fantastic stay at Adriatik Hotel, BW Premier Collection. I stayed in an executive room and loved the spotless cleanliness, excellent facilities, generous breakfast, and the balcony with a beautiful view. Every staff member was warm and attentive; special thanks to Ali and Erisa at reception, Lume and Xhane for keeping my room immaculate, and the pool team plus the gentleman managing the beach area and sunbeds: always friendly and professional. I also highly recommend the SPA: Anjeza is excellent at what she does. Traveling alone, I felt perfectly looked after while still having my privacy - a great balance. I even extended my stay because I loved the whole experience and I hope to return soon.

    My daughter and I had a wonderful two-night stay at Vila Lule from Wednesday to Thursday. The owner was incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome. He was always smiling and took the time to explain everything about breakfast, making sure we had a great start to our day. The personal touch was amazing—he even prepared our beach chairs and towels for us every morning. The location is perfect for a relaxing trip with family, right on the beach. We loved our time here and would highly recommend it to other families."

    I have stayed in many hotels all over the place, but cannot recall many other hotel staffs being quite so helpful. They were exceptional: they did everything I needed, and more. They sorted airport transfers (which were on time, quick, and good value for money). I needed a desk in my room, so they gave me a different room with a nice big desk. They arranged food for my room when needed. Everything. They were also all extremely pleasant and friendly,

    Durrës is a very diverse city, with both modern buildings and unfinished construction as well as scattered trash. The seafront promenade is long and pleasant, lined with plenty of restaurants and small shops. Public transport is available and inexpensive, with a bus ticket costing 40 lek. You can also find bike rentals for exploring the city.

    This is perfect for its purpose!

    This is perfect for its purpose! A clean, comfy bed to catch some sleep before a flight. We could return our car, walk to Rinas to sleep and walk to the airport in the early morning. It worked out perfectly. Safe, clean & our bed was actually the most comfortable we had in our 2 weeks in Albania.

    Kruje is charming and small.

    Kruje is charming and small. You don't need more than half a day to walk through bazaar and explore the castle views and museums. You could stay longer if you are planning to do hikes in the area which we didn't have time for. It is a charming small town with great views and a nice bazaar.

    The beaches are awefull around Cape Rodon. Lot's of trash and garbage floating around the beaches and sea. Currently there are 2 newly built resorts (Saint Michelle Residence and Resort Arbeni) being demolished for unknown reasons. Our first booked accomodation let us know that they had to cancel our booking due to Albanian new legislation (Piceri Rodoni). In my opinion it is better to stay at the beaches of Dürres and visit the cape as half a day trip. But if you want to have a non-active holiday, Rodoni resort is the best place you could imagine to stay.

    We had to drive, but it wasn't a problem for us. We discovered some really nice local bars and restaurants. Duka Wine Estate is definitely recommended, just a 10-minute drive away! Lej & Laj, we'll definitely be back!

    I find that the banking situation is an obscene scam. All of my credit card purchases serviced by Raiffheisen Bank were declined at grocery stores for some reason. Several ATMS did not provide me with cash. I had to take cash out of an ATM that charged me $50 US Dollars to take cash out, because the card servicer wasn't approving the card transactions at the grocery store. I have not had this serious of a problem in any other country. I didn't really explore a lot. I wish there was a store that carried camping/hiking equipment. I think the coastline is nice. The restaurant prices seem to be reasonable. Mostly I stayed in my room at my hostel by myself so I can't really be reliable to rate the entire city.

    Krujë is a lovely spot with both cultural and visual appeal.

    Krujë is a lovely spot with both cultural and visual appeal. One day is sufficient to see what there is to experience. I stayed an extra day because I had work to do online. Be warned, this is a mountain down so you will be doing a lot of up and downhill walking. Reconsider if you have mobility issues.

    Very beautiful beach, clean air surrounded by pine trees, family oriented, a lot of fresh and testy quality local food. Outstanding sunrise and sunset. The best I have ever seen so far. I would recommend to have options of water activities for the families and the kids even though there is plenty of ground activities available.

    I loved our stay here.

    I loved our stay here. The beach is great - clean, not too busy as locals go there and only 1 or 2 hotels on the coast, so not overloaded by tourists like some European destinations. Beautiful beach, warm sea. Just perfect.
