The breakfast was absolutely delicious — fresh, varied, and beautifully presented every morning! The location was perfect: peaceful yet close to everything we needed, with stunning views and lovely surroundings. The hotel is brand new, beautifully designed, and every detail has been thoughtfully considered to ensure maximum comfort. It was spotlessly clean, and the rooms were incredibly spacious. The staff were kind, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The family, Zo and Bertie, are by far the kindest hosts we’ve ever met — genuinely warm and welcoming. A special thank you as well to the night receptionist Florian, bartender Florians, Ornella and cleaning staff for always being helpful and treating every request with kindness and professionalism. This stay truly exceeded all our expectations!

I can definitely recommend this hotel, which has everything you need. It's close to the beaches, with fresh and well-maintained rooms.     The hotel gave a great first impression; neat, clean and with a friendly staff. They were service oriented and very attentive to our needs. They made sure we had a pleasent stay. The included breakfast was great. The restaurant offered delicious meals to an affordable price. I would absolutely recommend enjoying a meal at the hotel restaurant! Everything we needed was within walking distance; multiple beaches, markets, shops, bars and restaurants. We had an extraordinary view of the sunset from our room. We were very happy with our stay.

    We liked the location, very close to the beach. Water was amazing. We were also surprised by the cleanliness, everything was very very clean. Rita and the staff really take care of the rooms, floor, cleaned outside as well. The kitchen is open, which is very big advantage. We liked the breakfast, very fresh and tasty. And we liked to order lunch and dinner at the restaurant, the food were brought very quickly. Seafood pizza and seafood were amazing. All the staff is very nice, especially Laskie, the cutest waiter ever!

    Everything about the property was amazing. The location is amazing, it’s near the beach. And the apartment is so spacious and clean. The view from the balcony was perfect and you can watch the sunrise and sunset from there. The best part of it was the owner. He is a very kind man who kept offering us coffee and drinks.     Ksamil is emerging as a tourist destination & the centre of...

    Ksamil is emerging as a tourist destination & the centre of the town at least seems to have opted to cater for those who prefer loud music / water activities on the beaches. That said, there is a good selection of bars & restaurants both in the centre of the town and on the main road into it. The hotel in which we stayed (Area Hotel) was excellent. Public transport is ok - there is a bus every 30 mins to Sarande or Butrint BUT it is packed & an experience in itself! Fares are 150 Lek (1.5 euro) each way. Taxis are available but cost approx 30 euro each way. Although card payment is accepted in most restaurants / hotels etc, it seems as though cash is king in Albania. Local currency (Lek) can be accessed once you're in the country by changing euro at one of the many exchanges.

    Ksamil is a very beautiful resort with numerous stunning beaches and crystal-clear azure waters. There are plenty of quality restaurants offering delicious food at reasonable prices. The only drawback is that almost all beach spots are paid, meaning you need to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas. The cheapest spots started at around €15 for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella, while more premium locations charged €30 to €40 per set. Luxury cabana-style spots could cost up to €70 per day. Almost everywhere accepted euros, so it was not necessary to exchange money into the local currency. Alternatively, you could pay in euros and receive change in the local currency (Albanian lek). On average, €1 was equivalent to about 95–96 lek.

    The beaches are extremely beautiful and clean.

    The beaches are extremely beautiful and clean. Renting sunbeds/umbrellas can be quite pricy. If you go in the afternoon they would charge you the same price on some beaches. Driving in Ksamil can be quite hectic. The streets are quite narrow and not all the streets have pavements and on streets where they are present either they are taken up by shops or else the people do not use the land walk in the middle of the road. Be careful if you are driving there especially during rush hour and parking is not easy. The restaurants are really good. We tried a lot of them and the food is delicious and most of them have very reasonable prices. We were always treated nicely from the staff.
